Jetstream 31/32/41 Maintenance
10-Day Initial, 5-Day Recurrent, 2-Day Engine Run & Taxi Course
SIMCOM offers maintenance training for the Jetstream 31/32/41 series at its training center location In Orlando, Florida. On-site training can also be arranged for customers desiring maintenance instruction at their service locations. The 10-day initial course is conducted over a two week period and includes in depth discussion of the most important issues related to Jetstream 31/32/41 series airframe, engines and avionics. Emphasis is placed on maintenance requirements of the Honeywell TPE331-10 engines in Model 31, the TPE331-12 engines in the Model 32 and the TPE331-14 engines in the Model 41. If conducted at the customer’s location, 5-10 hours of hands-on instruction are included, using the actual aircraft to demonstrate specific servicing and routine maintenance procedures.
The 5-day recurrent maintenance training course for the Jetstream 31/32/41 series is available for customers already familiar with maintaining the aircraft or for those who have completed a 10-day initial training course. Major maintenance issues related to the aircraft are covered in 5 days and 40 hours of instruction, with some hands-on training available if the training is conducted on-site with an aircraft available.
The 2-day engine run course for the Jetstream 41 (engine run training for models 31/32 are “dry run” courses only) is available for those with a need to qualify for conducting ground engine runs and associated taxi operations. The course is conducted at SIMCOM’s training center location in Orlando, Florida and utilizes a full-motion Jetstream 41 flight simulator. Day one is classroom instruction and day two includes time in the simulator. Engine starts, emergency shutdown checklists and ground taxi procedures are covered in the simulator.
