Orlando, Florida June 5, 2015 —SIMCOM Aviation Training is pleased to announce the addition of a Beechcraft Bonanza A-36 simulator to its fleet of Beechcraft King Air and Baron simulators. SIMCOM now offers initial and recurrent training for the Bonanza A-36, V-35B, F-33A, A-36TC, and B-36TC models of aircraft at SIMCOM’s Lee Vista Training Center in Orlando, Florida.

The Frasca International built advanced training device features a 220 degree high fidelity visual system, and a fully integrated instructor operating station which allows SIMCOM instructors to accurately simulate emergency situations and a variety of meteorological conditions. The simulator is equipped with Garmin 430 and Bendix/King avionics. The comprehensive worldwide database gives customers the opportunity to train in the same environment where they operate their aircraft.

“SIMCOM is the recognized leader in owner pilot flight training” says SIMCOM’s COO Mike King, “Our new Bonanza courses have been designed to give our instructors the flexibility to tailor training to meet the needs of the customer.”
Customers will be offered a one day Express Recurrent course which includes four hours of simulator instruction. SIMCOM will also supplement simulator based training with in-aircraft instruction at the customer’s request.

“We have created a course that delivers maximum training value to the Bonanza operator” says John Warnk, Lee Vista Training Center Manager. “Our one day Express Recurrent gives Bonanza pilots an opportunity to experience real world emergencies in a safe environment. Besides safety, one of the other big advantages of using an FTD for training is ability to quickly reposition the aircraft so training time and learning opportunities are maximized.”

Because the Bonanza simulator is qualified by the FAA, Bonanza customers will receive currency credit for instrument procedures and approaches. Flight reviews may also be completed using the FAA’s WINGS Program.

SIMCOM Aviation Training offer professional pilots and owner/pilots realistic simulator-based training for a number of jet, turboprop and piston powered airplanes. SIMCOM currently operates 57 simulators in four locations – Orlando, Florida; Scottsdale, Arizona and Humberside, United Kingdom. Courses are available for initial and recurrent training.
