Gary Santos Joins SIMCOM as Training Center Manager

ORLANDO, FL, JULY 8th, 2015 —SIMCOM Training Aviation announces that Gary Santos has joined the company as Training Center Manager for SIMCOM’s Scottsdale Training Center. In this capacity, Gary will oversee and direct all center activities for the purpose of providing cost-effective training that consistently produces well trained and satisfied customers.

Gary retired from Republic Airways in August 2014, where he most recently served as Director of Pilot Training, overseeing the training for three different Part 121 certificates (Republic Airlines, Shuttle America Airlines and Chautauqua Airlines). He previously served in positions of Chief Pilot and Director of Operations for Gull Airlines, Director of Operations for Trans States Airlines and Vice President of Operations for United Feeder Service. Gary began his aviation career in 1975 as a customer service agent for Air New England. He holds an ATP certificate with type ratings on the Bae-ATP, ATR 42/72, CA-212 and EMB-110 and has logged approximately 14,000 hours of flight time.
